Coming along, starting to make real progress....

Yesterday our 8th grade students hosted a group from the Elizabeth Coalition. Our guests were treated to a dance party, games, basketball, a magic show, a very impressive meal and finally, gifts to take home for everyone. These amazing young people planned and executed every detail of this event with grace and enthusiasm. We are beyond proud of them. Kudos to their parents, they are amazing !

Our 8th Grade Discipleship Academy at St John’s Church in Newark. They were able to bring a huge donation of food and paper products to stock their pantry because of the generosity of this wonderful parish.

Great turnout for our IHM Men’s Night Out. As Fr. Mike said “ a very enjoyable evening! “ Keep an eye out for future events, open to all men of the parish. Big Thank you to the Duthie Family for hosting.

Mrs Froden’s 3rd grade class were a big help today sorting all the food donations for St John’s soup kitchen in Newark.

8th Grade Students at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart yesterday. Thank you to Fr. Tom Dente for a terrific tour. The kids took some of these photos! Again we are blessed to spend time with another group of great young people.

Daily Mass at IHM’s Summer Academy program. Noon everyday through 7/3. Come join us, the energy of these precious children is a joy to experience.

Great turnout last evening for our first IHM ladies night out at Darby Road. Thank you Fr. Mike for being our host and facilitating great conversations.

Emerging Disciples at IHM, Check it out !

This past 2 weeks we were overwhelmed by the generosity of our parish families. Hungry people will eat because of you! Foster kids will go back to school with brand new school supplies because of you ! Special needs kids and adults will experience equine therapy because of you ! Women in a homeless shelter will sleep in clean bedding and have fresh towels and toiletries because of you ! 65+ Seniors enjoyed a nice morning out because of you ! This is God’s work, makes us all proud to belong to the great parish of IHM ❤️❤️❤️
